Chelsea Market is teaming up with New York Blood Services to conduct an emergency blood drive on Wed. Aug. 1 (10 a.m.–3:30 p.m.), Thurs. Aug. 2 (10 a.m.–3:30 p.m.) and Sat. Aug. 4 (11 a.m.–4:30 p.m.) in an effort to help replenish the city’s dwindling blood reserves. As an added incentive, those donating blood over the course of the drive will receive a pair of New York Mets tickets, while supplies last. All those participating will also receive a complimentary gift card (while supplies last) to the opening of the brand-new Ninth Street Espresso coffee shop set to open in September.
