Members of Youth Pride Chorus, seen here during their winter Queer Hallelujas show, will perform their spring concert, Songs from the Fight, on Wednesday, June 13 at 8 p.m., at New World Stages. The program will feature words and music from a variety of artists, including Aretha Franklin and David Bowie, as well as protest songs from anti-Apartheid South Africa and the U.S. (1960s and 70s). Youth Pride Chorus, which is open to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and allied youth ages 1321, is a joint program of the New York City Gay Mens Chorus and The LGBT Center, and is one of the first programs of its kind in the country.
