Michael Austin, the gardener at Astro’s Community Dog Run at 39th St. and 10th Ave., and Shiloh, his 4-year-old beagle, spent some time enjoying the run together on Tuesday, above. The narrow strip of green has been open to neighbors and their animal friends since May 1998. It boasts a variety of plantings and flowers, including chrysanthemums, pansies, morning glories and honeysuckle. Roxy, a 1 year-old Lhasa apso, was visiting, too. It’s quite the popular spot.
